1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PilotLinked ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

PilotLinked is a digital logbook and aviation management platform that provides:

• Electronic pilot logbook functionality
• Aircraft management and tracking
• Career opportunity marketplace
• Multi-tenant organization support
• Data export and reporting tools

2.1 Independence Statement

PilotLinked is independently developed and operated solely by Webkop GmbH. We have no affiliations, partnerships, or financial relationships with airlines, aircraft manufacturers, flight schools, or any other aviation organizations. No third-party sponsorships, grants, or financial contributions were accepted for the development of this platform. All features are available equally to all users without preference or bias toward any organization or entity.

2.2 Development Standards

This application has been developed to the best of our knowledge, ability, and experience in software development. We strive to maintain the highest standards of quality, neutrality, and user privacy in all aspects of the service.

2.3 Future Development

Webkop GmbH and PilotLinked are committed to continuously improving the platform. While we maintain our independence, we are open to future cooperations, partnerships, and advertising opportunities that align with our values and benefit our users. Any future partnerships will be transparently disclosed and will not compromise our commitment to equal treatment of all users.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 Account Types

• Pilot Account: Individual pilots for personal logbook use
• Organization Account: Companies, flight schools, and operators
• Team Member Account: Users associated with an organization

3.3 Account Security

You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscription and Payment

4.1 Subscription Tiers

• Free: Basic features with limitations
• Premium: Full features for individual pilots
• Organization: Multi-user support and admin tools

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store credit card information on our servers.

4.3 Refunds

Annual subscriptions can be cancelled within 14 days for a full refund. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Submit false or misleading information
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Use automated systems to access the Service without permission
• Violate aviation regulations or safety standards

6. Data and Content

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of your logbook data. You grant us a license to use your data solely to provide the Service.

6.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of your logbook entries. PilotLinked is not responsible for verifying data accuracy.

6.3 Data Export

You can export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF, JSON).

6.4 ForeFlight Import

PilotLinked supports importing logbook data from ForeFlight CSV format. We have made our best effort to ensure compatibility with ForeFlight's export format. However, we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy of imported data. Users must verify all imported entries for accuracy. PilotLinked has no affiliation, partnership, or relationship with ForeFlight. ForeFlight is a trademark of ForeFlight LLC.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Webkop GmbH and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. PILOTLINKED IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR OFFICIAL LOGBOOKS REQUIRED BY AVIATION AUTHORITIES.

8.1 Aviation Data Disclaimer

ALL AVIATION DATA INCLUDING AIRPORT INFORMATION, AIRCRAFT TYPES, MANUFACTURER DATA, COORDINATES, ICAO/IATA CODES, AND OTHER TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR INACCURACIES IN THIS DATA. USERS ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING ALL AVIATION DATA BEFORE USE IN ACTUAL FLIGHT OPERATIONS.

8.2 Data Sources

Aviation data is aggregated from various sources including OpenFlights.org (provided under the Open Database License (ODbL)) as well as public databases such as OurAirports and DAFIF. Airport and airline data © OpenFlights.org. Parts of the aircraft data are derived from publicly available ICAO and Wikipedia sources (GNU Free Documentation License, GFDL). We have created our own database model and structure, but make no claims about the accuracy or completeness of the underlying data.

8.3 Not for Navigation

PILOTLINKED IS NOT APPROVED FOR USE IN ACTUAL FLIGHT OPERATIONS OR NAVIGATION. All data must be verified against official sources before use in any aviation activity.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WEBKOP GMBH SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Webkop GmbH from any claims arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately for violations of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time through the account settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Austria.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
